Quilt #5180 - Hallucination: Men working on the Mountain

Avondale, PA USA Width: 9" Length: 12" Materials/Techniques: cotton fabric, satin stitch embroidered, fabric paint. Artist's Statement: My Mom seemed fine until she looked out her window. Then she would see all kinds of activity going on "on the mountain." Men working building a white stone wall on the mountain was a favorite. When she tried to show them to us, all we saw were trees, there was no mountain. Jannett Caldwell Dedication: To my Mom, Mattie Pennington. This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles. Auction ends on December 10, 2013 at 10 p.m. (22:00 military time) Central Standard Time. Winners will be notified by email with payment instructions when the auction is over. Payment (Visa or MasterCard) is due by December 15th. Winners pay shipping via Priority Mail, plus insurance and 6% sales tax (MI residents only). Please read descriptions carefully. Note quilt size.
