Award: Members' Choice: Honorable Mention Artist: Katherine M Dossman - Belton, Texas USA Materials and Techniques: Cotton fabrics for the top and back. I used Derwert Inktense pencils for the kitten applique. The dresden flower stems are hand stitched embellished ribbon. Artist's Statement: I love cats and the joy that they have brought me in my life.Cats are my favorite animal. Katrina is the name my grandmother used for me when I was little, I miss her and wish she could have taught me to quilt. My favorite colors are brights and I am fond of hexies and dresden plates.I think my grandmother would enjoy this art quilt. Size: 16" x 16"
Shipping & Handling Details:
Quilt will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail from our office Asheville, N.C. Contact admin@quiltalliance.org within 12 hours of auction close if you are local and would like to pick up your quilts in person.
Shipping and Handling Price: $12 for 1-3 quilts. Add $3 for each additional quilt.
