| Description of Item |
Artist: Laurie Ceesay - Menominee, MI USA Materials and Techniques: Raw edged fused applique. Machine quilting on a commercial sewing machine. Artist's Statement: My favorite style of quilt is a portrait quilt. I used my favorite color hot pink as well as my favorite embellishments-glitter nail polish, rhinestones, special occasion fabrics like velvet and tulle and white matte fabric paint for the eye reflection. I am a hairdresser and the layered asymmetrical bob hairstyle is also my favorite hairstyle which I featured in this quilt! Size: 16" x 16"
Shipping & Handling Details:
Quilt will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail from our office Asheville, N.C. Contact admin@quiltalliance.org within 12 hours of auction close if you are local and would like to pick up your quilts in person.
Shipping and Handling Price: $12 for 1-3 quilts. Add $3 for each additional quilt.
