| Description of Item |
Artist: Melanie Marr - Houston, Texas USA Materials and Techniques: Materials used are black fabric, acrylic paints, batting, stabilizer, and thread. Techniques: used are that the image is drawn onto fabric, painted, then quilted. Artist's Statement: "Joyous" was inspired by a photo from a trip my family and I took to the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC. The Panda is my favorite type of bear and in the photo the Panda seemed joyous and content. Size: 16" x 16"
Shipping & Handling Details:
Quilt will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail from our office Asheville, N.C. Contact admin@quiltalliance.org within 12 hours of auction close if you are local and would like to pick up your quilts in person.
Shipping and Handling Price: $12 for 1-3 quilts. Add $3 for each additional quilt.
