| Description of Item |
Art cross: Proto-Modernist Cross Marjorie began and continues her art education at both the Glassell School at the MFAH and The Art League of Houston. The most profound influences on her style have been the works of surrealists, abstract expressionists and pop art. Because she, personally, finds hope in the cross, Marjorie intentionally used bright acrylic paints to convey a feeling of optimism and joy in creating this cross. |
