Tasting Notes: The 2009 Syrah is crimson red with a vibrant purple hue. Plumb, bing cherry and spice are surrounded by a subtle caramel aroma on the nose. The entry is driven by dark fruits, blackberry, black currant and cassis. The mid palate has a velvety texture that segues into a finish with soft but present tannins.
