The Cowboy. Frederic Remington’s c1908 life-sized bronze statue of a cowboy on a horse on the edge of a cliff. It was commissioned by Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park Art Association, after the artist was declared “a national treasure” it was the only outdoor public work Remington ever produced. Remington had insisted on its location, which adds meaning to seeing it in person. This American Handmade Bronze Sculpture by Frederic Remington is cast in the superior Lost Wax Casting process. This insures a quality bronze sculpture that may be passed down from generation to generation. The incredible detail of each sculpture is a Remington hallmark.
