Width: 9"
Length: 12"
Materials/Techniques: Photo transfer, hand dyes; Machine quilted and machine pieced.
Artist's Statement: This quilt's content is the result of asking a friend, who is a caregiver, for an image to depict in an Alzheimer's quilt. Her answer was "medications". Finding the middle road between having the patient be responsible and the caregiver being the supervisor can be a difficult place to find. Taking multiple medications can be overwhelming and offering assistance where the patient maintains self dignity and some responsibility is a care giver's challenge.
