Artist: Laurie Russman - New York City, NY USA Materials and Techniques: Black Cherrywood and green ice-dyed cotton, fused appliqué, machine quilting Artist's Statement: Inspired by the way our cat appeared to us one summer day, sunning himself in the myrtle, I wanted to capture the brilliant green of his eyes and how they echoed the leaves (while his sleek black fur nearly disappears in the shadows). The only portion of the cat that is appliquéd is his ears...the rest is simply delineated by lots of black metallic thread! Size: 16" x 16"
Shipping & Handling Details:
Quilt will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail from our office Asheville, N.C. Contact admin@quiltalliance.org within 12 hours of auction close if you are local and would like to pick up your quilts in person.
Shipping and Handling Price: $12 for 1-3 quilts. Add $3 for each additional quilt.
