Description of Item

Artist: Kristin Shields - Bend, OR USA

Materials and Techniques: cotton and linen fabrics, hand applique, hand embroidery, machine quilting

Artist's Statement: Embroidered folk art animal pieces are a favorite technique of mine. Once the animal is appliqued, I like to draw details freehand and stitch over them with embroidery floss.

Size: 16" x 16"

Shipping & Handling Details:

Quilt will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail from our office Asheville, N.C. Contact admin@quiltalliance.org within 12 hours of auction close if you are local and would like to pick up your quilts in person.
