SIZE: 16W" x 34.5L" CREDIT: Original Design STATEMENT: In Japan, the plum blossom is associated with the start of spring because plum blossoms are some of the first blossoms to appear. BIO: Ann started quilting in 1995 while living in Japan. She often finds inspirations from Japanese motifs. Ann is an award winning quilter and she belongs to SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Associates) and the Charlottesville Area Quilters Guild. Her quilts have been exhibited at the Virginia Quilt Museum on several occasions. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES: Paper Pieced Pineapple Blocks by a friend, Needle Turn Applique, Machine Pieced and Machine Quilted.
