City/Town: San Antonio Materials and Techniques: Cotton fabric and batting, zipper, tape measure, buttons. Hand and machine applique, embroidery, fabric pens. Artist's Statement: The range of political theatrics this last year has been bountiful. "Alternative facts" was one of the most ludicrous, a phrase which will forevermore impact politicians, educators, parents, and children. My Voice entry makes a political jab with a quilting/sewing related version of "alternative facts." Size: 16" x 16" |
