Artist Name: Pauline Salzman
City/Town: Treasure Island Materials and Techniques: cotton fabric, nylon tulle, markers. The faces were printed on fabric and then enhanced with markers. Then it was appliqued The overlay is nylon tulle and the flag was made with markers. Then it was quilted Artist's Statement: The Pledge of Allegiance is something we as Americans learned in grade school. In these times of political discourse those words should be remembered. Size: 16" x 16" |
