Artist's Statement: It could be a house, a courthouse, a church, a landscape or an archeological site…everyone has places that are important to them. Places they care about. Places that matter. This Place Matters is a national campaign by the National Trust for Historic Preservation that encourages people to celebrate the places that are meaningful to them and to their communities. Look to your own communities and tell the stories of the places you can't live without.
