Materials and Techniques: Cotton fabric, thread, ribbon, glue and glitter. Pieced, appliqued and free-motion quilting.

Artist's Statement: What people say comes directly from what is in their heart. Whether it's directly in conversation, commenting on social media or speaking out for a cause. The theme "Voice" made me think of a Bible scripture, Mt 12:34 (For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart). I decided to depict this in my quilt.
