BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!! CKS parents will once again take the Ozona stage at the “CKS Lip Sync Battle” Party on Saturday night, January 20, 2018!  On this hilarious SpikeTV hit, “Lip Sync Battle”, celebrities dress up in costume and imitate their favorite artists while lip syncing. Parents who purchase party tickets will be able to submit acts in early January and a competition will be organized.   Guests may participate as an individual act or as a group.     Do you have what it takes to beat 2017 “Best in Show” winner Danny Llana?  What do the 2^nd grade parents have up their sleeve this year? How will you win over the crowd when you step up on the stage in January?  Or just come and enjoy the fun!  In addition to enjoying the fun competition and music played by DJ Andy Duvall, party guests will be treated to heavy appetizers and 3 drink tickets per person.

Proceeds from this “CKS Lip Sync Battle” party will be donated to the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters for Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary School in San Juan, Puerto Rico to assist with the devastation from Hurricane Maria. This school and community is home to Sister Andreen, the Principal, and Sister Joelle, the Assistant Principal, who are suffering alongside their 700 students and their families. Both Sister Joelle and Sister Andreen have been long-time missionaries in Puerto Rico.  The scope of the devastation is unlike anything Sister Andreen and Sister Joelle have ever experienced.  The school lost most of its roof and the gymnasium lies in ruins.  The school and community desperately needs drinking water, fuel for the school’s generator, fuel for cooking stoves for families in most need, basic medicines and first aid supplies, classroom supplies and books, a new roof and repairs to the school. We will also be donating 15% of the proceeds to CKS to give support to our faculty and staff.
