City/Town: Pittstown Materials and Techniques: Commercial and handprinted fabrics. Sun printed fabric and discharge paste. Artist's Statement: Messages. Birds knock on windows when someone is dying. I believe they carry the souls of the departed. When I find feathers on the ground or fluttering in the air to the ground I just think of it as a 'message'. To me they are spiritual and I collect feathers for that reason. Size: 16" x 16" |
