| Description of Item |
This incredible art quilt is titled: Deep Rising by Marion Coleman a member of the African American Quilt Guild of Oakland. The Oakland guild had an exhibit at the museum in 2017. The quilt is made from Indonesian Batik and domestic and Japanese cottons. It has variegtated threads and is machine pieced and quilted. Measuring 43.5" x 43.5" it has a sleeve and is ready to hang. |
