Starla Phelps Width: 8.5" Length: 11.75" Materials/Techniques: I used a combination of batiks and printed fabrics, fused flowers and birds, machine quilting and embroidery. The frame is brown ultra-suede.
Artist Statement: Although the two trees produce no more leaves, they remain as beautiful as life around them goes on. Visitors remember when they produced abundant leaves. Dedication: To my grandmother, Bess Sheets. This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles. Auction ends on June 10, 2013 at 10 p.m. (22:00 military time) Central Standard Time.
