About This Item

Description of Item

Take your birding to the next level with this package. Stay in walking distance of all the birding action at the Birder’s Haven located near the Winnie Street entrance of Smith Oaks Bird Sanctuary in High Island, Texas. Valid for 3 nights from April 4-7, 2018 and accommodates 4 guests.

During your stay, spend a day birding at High Island with Houston Audubon’s Conservation Director, Dr. Richard Gibbons. On your outing, you will be led through Smith Oaks and other High Island sanctuaries seeking spring migratory birds and have access to a behind the scenes perspective of current and future management and projects.

Bring along your new pair of Kowa Genesis 8x33 binoculars for the perfect birding experience! To attain the pinnacle of binocular performance, a total of 4 XD lenses are utilized in the objective end of the binoculars. This design significantly reduces chromatic aberration and provides high contrast across the field of view. These binoculars are multi-coated for contrast, and waterproof, fog proof to ensure image clarity. In summary, they are ready for birding!
