| Description of Item |
This wall hanging measuring 18 x 18 inches features fused applique with hand running stitches. Made of all cotton, it is machine quilted and has button embellishments and a ribbon bow. Janet, a dedicated supporter of the VQM, made this quilt from 1930's scraps for the Shenandoah Valley Botanical Album Quilt Sew Along. It was exhibited in the museum from May 22 - September 8 as part of the "Beyond the Valley" exhibit. |
