This 4-night all-inclusive stay at Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge is the perfect combination of private and family-style accommodations, providing an intimate setting for nature lovers of all ages. The Macal River is just steps away with the best beach around, where guests can swim, relax, and enjoy unlimited use of tubes and canoes. Adjacent to the resort grounds is the 45-acre Belize Botanic Gardens. The Gardens connect to an additional 37 acres of tropical broad-leaf forest, where you'll find an extensive system of hiking trails, which continues on to destinations beyond the property, including the Maya archaeological site Xunantunich. Don’t forget about the Treehouse Bar, where guests can eat, drink, and if they’re lucky, visit with the neighborhood toucans or kinkajous.

Did you know that over 300 bird species have been recorded within 5 miles of Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge? The Cayo District is well known for its abundant bird life, and the Lodge could not be better placed for Birders with its rich mixture of habitats and equally varied avifauna. Set in secondary growth rainforest on the edge of the Macal River, the lodge offers an unparalleled opportunity to get close to forest birds. Each morning, the lodge sets out a tempting plate of fruit and throughout the day the birds will come in and feed just a few feet from guests at the Treehouse Bar. Early morning is best and one of our bird guides is often on hand to help with identification over tea and coffee. Species such as Collared Aracari, Wood Thrush, Blue-crowned Mot-mot and several tanagers are regulars at the fruit table, usually in numbers, bickering over the melon. Other visitors to the fruit include Gray Catbird, Clay-colored Robin, and the noisy Plain Chachalacas, who can also double as your daily wake-up call!

Offer includes room and all-inclusive package for up to two guests in a King or Two Queen Casita with a complimentary 30-minute guided bird walk. The all-inclusive package includes three meals per day, local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, Belize Botanic Gardens access, hiking trail access, exclusive use of river tubes, canoes, and bikes, and land transportation to/from International Airport.

International airfare to BZE Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport, commuter airfare to San Ignacio (if desired), additional excursions, SCUBA diving, fishing, and premium alcohol are not included in the package. Winner has free reign over the calendar except Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s week. Winner must stay within one year of the auction date.  When booking your stay, make sure to ask about additional excursions or adding on additional discounted nights!
