One of Nancy Sterett-Martin's favorite flowers is the Hibiscus flower. After a lot of photographing and drawing she decided to make this quilted wallhanging. Made in 2005 by Nancy Sterett-Martin and measures at 45"x61".

The branch was made from a technique using potato dextrin on a hand dyed fabric background. As this paste dried, it cracked. The artist, Nancy Sterett-Martin, then applied another dye over the cracked and dried out paste, therefore creating some unusual lines of another color. Made in 2006. It measures at 54"x88".
