Every sweet bundle of joy needs to be wrapped up in a quilt made from 30's reproduction fabrics. This quilt would be a wonderful gift for a brand new bundle of joy!

This pattern, called "Zipped Up" was designed by Liz Porter. She and Marianne Fons started "Love of Quilting" magazine. This quilt would make a great child's quilt!
The fabrics for this quilt were collected from several quilt shops in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas. Each fabric in the quilt has a shape in the pattern, be it a circle, square or diamond. Each fabric color adds to the variety. The quilt uses a layer cake pattern that I developed. The pieced border is made from square-in-a-square blocks. It was great fun looking for all of the different fabrics.
Dogs have helped many single people, as well as families, during the past year. For those that have a dog, or wish they had a dog, enjoy the quilt. No walking, no feeding, no Vet visits - just love the warmth of the quilt.

This bright little quilt would be a great quilt for a baby, or for a child's doll. The idea for the quilt came from Gai Perry's book, "Color from the Heart". This quilt was made while I lived in Montana and stored to be used as a gift.
I love making quilts for children. This quilt has illustrations from the book which is included with the quilt. I liked this book when my children were small.
