Mrs. Fisher said the quilt is made up of various fabrics including cotton, flannel, silk, seersucker, and lots more. She bought the blocks and central medallion at a garage sale. She didn’t buy them together, but they went together. The backing fabric has images from civil war. She had the material, so she used it.
