Mrs. Fisher said this is the second of the two pieces she made from an old pattern (#44 is the other). She was using a pattern she had found years ago. When she started working with it, she realized why she hadn’t used it before. The dimensions were off, so she made 4 pieces rather than one large quilt it was meant to be.
