I'm from a small town in South Texas. When my teachers told my mother that I spent most of my time drawing and not paying attention in class, she decided to register me for after school art classes at a local artist's home. I went there on Wednesdays with some of my friends. Art classes were a social event and became my escape and opportunity of self-expression.

I've taken several classes since then. I have accumulated over 20 hours in art at Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Tx, a few hours at The Glassell School of Art here in Houston, private classes in Nashville, TN from a local artist, Art Studio on the Blvd. in The Heights and currently enrolled in a studio class at the Art League Houston.

I have tried several mediums and also enjoy crafting and making sugar cookies that I decorate in an artistic fashion.

I hope this cross brings you joy and peace. The center of the piece is painted in a warm color. It represents the heart and soul. Everything else is just noise.
