About the Artist

This specific piece is a reflection on McKinney and the Empty Bowls initiative.  It is completed in a process call Kintsugi - a process symbolizing a reconciliation with the flaws and accidents of time.  Picking up the pieces and putting them back together, sometimes with a little help from those around us.
