The Quilt's Story: My mother, Florence Bachman started making this quilt before the auction last year. She wanted to make a larger more detailed quilt than she donated the year before. It has taken almost the full year for her to finish as she experienced a light stroke in February. Her quilts bring her much joy to work on and we're always amazed to see the results.
