About the Artist

Maylee created this bowl with the assistance of Steve Macias, a potter at SPARC, a co-op studio in McKinney.

Maylee is a singer, songwriter, co-founder of the Love Life Foundation, and Owner of The Guitar Sanctuary.

Maylee loves to give back to her community and to make a difference in other people’s lives. Through the Love Life Foundation, founded in 1992, she has been able to host community events and outreaches, feed and clothe the homeless, support many wonderful organizations in the community, like providing backpacks full of school supplies and holiday presents for at-risk children, and so much more.

She is married to the Mayor of McKinney making her the First lady.  They live in McKinney and have four children and two beautiful grandchildren.
