Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, vintage hand crocheted lace, pearl cotton, wool felt, cotton batting, cotton thread, iron-on applique adhesive. Machine applique, hand embroidery/quilting.

Artist's Statement: "Catching the Pieces" represents the caregivers whose loving hands are there for their loved ones who have Alzheimer's.

Dedication: To the wonderful caregivers, especially my dad and my sister, who were there to make Mom's life so pleasant during her years with Alzheimer's.
