About the Artist

Functional and decorative pottery. When the clay is malleable, the potter has to work to achieve their goal, but always within the limitations of the structural ability of the soft material. I enjoy pushing the boundaries of the clay by making the walls thinner, taller, wider, or bigger. The challenge is rewarding when successful and a learning experience when the results are not achieved. This challenge is my inspiration to create unique forms.
