This is the original painting of depression era hero, Seabiscuit. The main image is of Seabiscuit with George Woolf up in the post parade of the Bay Meadows Handicap. The upper right shows Seabiscuit leading War Admiral into the first turn in their historic match race which Seabiscuit won. The upper left shows the winner circle celebration after Seabiscuit won the 1940 Santa Anita Derby. Red Pollard rode the horse that day. Canvas 24x30 with frame 34x40. The artist, Tom Chapman, was an East Coast jockey, for 20 years.
