Artist's Statement: My piece references the inner voice that we all possess, what I like to call "the language of the heart". It is love, compassion and caring for ourselves, others and our world. Sometimes it is loud, clear and direct. Other times, we must be still and quiet to hear that voice. The voice of the heart is always there;it never leaves us.
