Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics, hand painted, paint-stick moon, crackled process, rough edge appliqué owl, Tsukineko ink embellishment, hand appliqué branch, machine quilted, signed, piped, traditionally bound.

Artist Statement: From beginning to end, this quilt was a fun one to make. Living in the woods allows us to hear many varieties of owls hooting at night and sometimes during the day. Occasionally, we get a good view of them sitting on a branch just as this one is doing.

Dedication: To all the nature lovers of the world.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
