A creative art studio located in historic downtown McKinney, Texas since 2001.  They offer pottery painting/glazing, glass fusing, wine and beer glass painting and more on a walk-in basis.  The studio strives to be “a happy place” for those who want to create, connect, and celebrate. No experience is necessary to have a unique experience filled with FUN, CREATIVITY and lots of IMAGINATION.

Hugs Cafe is the dream of Founder and President Ruth Thompson. Her vision was to create a non-profit Cafe that would be run and operated primarily by adults with special needs and she has done just that! The mission of Hugs is to enhance the lives of adults with special needs through training and employment. Each item on the menu has been handcrafted by their chefs and offers some of the best eats in town! From an earthly nutty espresso to your favorite latte, they have you taken care of! From their lavish in house dessert display to custom cakes and desserts, Layered has exactly what you need to satisfy your sweet tooth.
