JCD created his bowl with the assistance of Lisa LaBarge, owner of The McKinney Art Studio.

Stan Lynch of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers may have said it best – “It’s as if Don Henley, Elvis Presley and the Everly Brothers met late one night at a Texas Roadhouse parking lot and beat the crap out of each other and what came out was Jon Christopher Davis. He’s brains, hips and harmonies.”

JCD’s songs have been covered by Dolly Parton, Hal Ketchum, Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles, Billy Ray Cyrus, Sherrie Austin, Rodney Atkins, Tammy Cochran and several indie artists. His music is often licensed for television.

JCD’s recorded for Warner Brothers, Sony and MCA Records. His music has been featured on/in ABC, CBS, FOX, CMT, the Style Network, CW Network, Oxygen Channel, USA Today, Billboard Magazine, Texas Highways and the Washington Post. USA Today called “The Bottom Line” “one of the most intriguing tracks from the past, present and near future.”

His discography includes work with Vince Gill, Radney Foster, Rodney Crowell, Steve Lukather (Toto), Stan Lynch (The Heartbreakers), Dann Huff (Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban) and David Z (Prince, Jonny Lang).

JCD’s shared the concert stage with Train, Daughtry, The Roots (Jimmy Fallon’s house band), Lyle Lovett, Jack Ingram, Radney Foster, Rodney Crowell, Hal Ketchum, Michael McDonald, Eddie Money, Poco, Pure Prairie League, Restless Heart, Kansas, REO Speedwagon and performed twice for President George W. Bush.

JCD’s music is available at Apple Music, AmazonPandora and Spotify.

He resides in McKinney, TX with his yoga instructor wife, Kelli, and daughter, Claire.
