Empty Bowl Champions

Golden Triangle Wood Turners

The beautiful wooden bowls included in our sale and auction were donated by members of the Golden Triangle Woodturners Club. This North Texas based club is dedicated to providing education, information, and organization to those interested in woodturning. They seek to promote community interest in woodturning and provide guidance and aid to woodturners through the combined resources, knowledge and experience of their members. The Golden Triangle Woodturners have donated thousands of bowls to Empty Bowls of Denton over the past 20 years. For more information about this organization visit  www.goldentrianglewoodturners.org.  You can also find woodturning demonstrations from the Golden Triangle Woodturners on YouTube.

Happy Potters of Robson Ranch

Happy Potters meet every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Creative Arts Building for classes and to play in the clay!

Bill Reed

Bill Reed, a retired engineer and whose hobby is making ceramic bowls, has combined his creativity with his desire to serve the hungry in Denton. Bill has contributed to the Empty Bowls project since the early 2000's. People have begun collecting his bowls as he inscribes a thought for the day on the bottom of each bowl.  Thank you, Bill, for your continuing effort to fight hunger in Denton through Empty Bowls of Denton.

Lori Shelton

Many of bowls and pottery pieces included in our sale and auction were donated by Lori Shelton. Lori has been involved in Empty Bowls of Denton for over 15 years. She began taking pottery classes in 2016 and is now dedicating much of her time to experimenting with new techniques.
