Remington described the Horse Thief as a “nude Indian on a horse holding buffalo skin with right arm as protection…buffalo robe flying in air”. The artist worked on the model for several weeks until he was able to balance the horse’s three hooves and dramatically setting it against the rich-textured buffalo robe. Cast in the superior lost wax method. Height 21" This item has a 15% Buyers Premium that will be added to the buyers invoice. |
