Quilt, 64X77, circa 1880. Tumbling block one patch quilt in a wide variety of prints blacks, double pinks, browns, purples, lace prints, robe prints and shirtings. Double pink binding, white backing. Hand outline quilted. Condition good. Light wear on fabrics is most evident at the four corner. Binding worn in several places. One bite out of the edge is 3" by 1.5", with all fabrics and batting missing. Two blocks have disintegrating fabric. |
