Quilt, 61x87, circa 1950. Pieced telephone blocks (not listed in Brackman) in a variety of print fabrics sashed and bordered with a small blue and pink floral print on white. White backing, blue binding. Batting appears to be a thin flannel sheet. Hand quilted with clamshell quilting in the blocks. Condition poor. All fabrics abraded and worn, extensive fading, binding worn through. But a VERY unusual pattern! |
