Mrs. Fisher said this piece is from the art quilt group which was guided by exercises in Lyric Kinard's book, "Art Plus Quilt". The lesson required them to take something, cut it apart, and put it back together while using other materials. She was trying to push herself and do something different. The pieces are dimensional and she used some beads. Made by Linda Fisher in Lubbock TX in 2012. Machine Quilted. 30" length 30" width. |
