Mrs. Fisher said this quilt won first place at the South Plains Fair and second place at the Second Annual Arts Festival. The quilt has lots of applique work. This was mostly hand work and she quilted by hand. This is one of the first appliqué pieces that she submitted to a contest. Linda Fisher, First Place Lubbock Fair 1999 Second Annual Festival second place winner. Made by Linda Fisher in Lubbock TX October 1998. Hand Quilted. 88" length 79" width. |
