Size: 5 1/2" W X 9" L and 17 1/4" W X 13 1/2" L Credit: Original Design Statement: Paula was inspired by the "Virginia is for Lovers" theme. She wanted her work to welcome all to Virginia so she incorporated the universal pineapple in her design. Bio: Paula was selected as “2001 Teacher of the Year” by The Professional Quilter Magazine. She has been quilting since the early 1970s and teaching for over twenty years. Her quilts, patterns and articles have been published in magazines and books. Paula is a past president of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Quilt Museum and co-author of the book, “Quilts of Virginia: Birth of America through the Eye of a Needle.
