"Chelsea's Bouquet" is the fifth of the six quilts created for Mary Kerr's 2-year challenge held in 2008. The challenge was to create a wall hanging quilt using a vintage block. Shannon Shirley chose part of a damaged quilt circa 1900 and picked the appliquéd pieces off the muslin and reapplied them to a selection of the Moda Chelsea Boutique fabric. The machine-appliquéd flowers are topped with beading that is also found in the outside center circle. This piece is 100% cotton and machine-quilted.
