Nautilus Pair -

Bruce White has created a monochromatic quilt measuring 9"x 27". Its design was based on the nautilus shell spirals generated by the Fibonacci numbers (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, etc.) in which each number in the series is generated by adding the two previous numbers. This is an ideal proportion known since before 300 BC. With its shades of tan and brown, this would be perfect in a "man-cave," library, man's bedroom or a coffee bar.  It is sleeved to hang vertically, but could be adapted to hang horizontally. Bruce has been a strong advocate of the Virginia Quilt Museum and has served several terms on its Board of Directors.
