About the Artist

Katy created her bowl with the assistance of Lisa LaBarge, a professional potter and owner of The McKinney Art Studio.

Katy Blakey anchors NBC 5 News weekend evenings and reports during the week. An Emmy Award-winning reporter, Katy's work has also been honored with Lone Star Emmy nominations, including Best News Anchor, and recognized by the Oklahoma Associated Press. Katy, a North Texas native, joined the NBC 5 team in January of 2015.

No stranger to breaking news or severe weather, Katy solo-anchored live coverage of the early morning attack on Dallas Police Headquarters and hours-long stand-off. She covered the national outpouring of support for five DPD officers killed while protecting a peaceful protest in downtown Dallas and traveled to Houston for President George H. W. Bush’s memorial services.

Deborah created her bowl with the assistance of Alex Macias, a professional potter working in the SPARC Studio.

New York Times bestselling author Deborah Crombie is a native Texan who writes crime novels set in the United Kingdom. Her Duncan Kincaid/Gemma James series has received numerous awards, including Edgar, Macavity, and Agatha nominations, and is published in more than a dozen countries to international acclaim.

Crombie lives in North Texas with her husband, German shepherds, and cats, and divides her time between Texas and Great Britain. Her latest novel, A Bitter Feast, is available from William Morrow.  She is currently working on her nineteenth Kincaid/James novel.

Scott Elliott is the Executive Director of Community Lifeline Center,  a non-profit that assists local residents in managing crises and navigating their way back to self-sufficiency. This assistance ranges from financial help—rent, utilities, food, medical or prescription assistance—to job search training, credit and budget counseling, and advocacy. Scott is also a member of the McKinney City Council (District 3).

About the Artist

Allison created her bowl with the assistance of Lisa LaBarge, a professional potter and owner of The McKinney Art Studio.

Allison Harris is a reporter for FOX 4.  Since joining the FOX 4 team, she has covered the Dallas Police Ambush Shootings and traveled to Central Texas to cover the deadliest hot air balloon crash in United States history.  She will never forget reporting live at police headquarters the night of the Dallas police shooting, as people started showing up to pay their respects to the fallen officers.

Allison is a North Texas native!   She grew up in McKinney, Texas and graduated as president of the first class at McKinney Boyd High School.  She received a degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma, where she was honored to be named the top collegiate news anchor in the country by the Broadcast Education Association, and received the highest student honor from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters. She also studied journalism abroad in London and Paris at CNN International, Sky News, BBC, The Guardian and more.

Ashley created her bowl with the assistance of Lisa LaBarge, a professional potter and owner of The McKinney Art Studio.

Ashley is the Executive Director of the McKinney Education Foundation.  She directs their Grant, Scholarship and Advisor programs. MEF awards grants to McKinney ISD faculty, scholarships to graduating MISD seniors, and provides a college/financial aid advisor at each McKinney, TX high school. Advisors work with students to find financial assistance for higher education through federal/state programs and scholarships. They specialize in helping first generation college students, AVID program and any student who has a financial need for higher education.

About the Artist

Madeleine created her bowl with the assistance of Lisa LaBarge, a professional potter and owner of The McKinney Art Studio.

Madeleine is currently operating as the Registered Assistant for Patrick J. Cloutier at Legacy Planning Group. 

Madeleine graduated from Texas Tech University in 2015 with a BBA in Business Marketing. After graduation, Madeleine served as a Financial Representative for Fidelity Investments, where she obtained her Series 7 and 63 Licenses. In April 2017, Madeleine joined her father at Legacy Planning Group. She has since attained her Series 66 and Life, Accident and Health Insurance License.

Madeleine is motivated most by her love to help others. Throughout her professional experience, she has realized that she can apply that passion towards helping others reach their retirement goals and create long-term financial success.
