Amish Bars, 49"h x 47"w by Quilters Hall of Fame Honoree Michael James, signed and dated 1984.This is machine-pieced of cotton and silk fabrics and some hand-painted fabrics. Machine quilted. It is an "out of series" piece and was made as an experiment using hand painted cottons and has never been exhibited. Donated by Michael James. |
