13 antique quilt blocks 9 1/2" square, c. 1900-1910 in Barbara Brackman's pattern # 1339b, Virginia Reel or Zigzag, in two prints; red with white dots alternating with cream printed with a small black vine. Hand pieced, some stains, slight edge fraying and soil, at least one tiny hole. The fabric is crisp and very thin. Donated by Lisa Cart. |
